In early June the Salvona team moved from Dayton, NJ to a new facility in Hamilton, NJ. While only 10 miles further south the move represented more than a change in physical location. Salvona's new facility was a change in mentality and a signal of new growth and opportunity. Over June, July, and August final improvements and finishing touches were added to make our new home ready to start growing Salvona's core business of developing and manufacturing advanced raw materials. Our wonderful employees stuck with the project as areas of the building became available for use over the weeks after the initial move.
Salvona's new facility is a new, fully equiped, cGMP manufacturing facility for personal care and pharmaceutical products. The improved layout and increased space is allotted not only for the manufacture of the company's advanced raw materials, but also complete turn-key production of finished goods containing those advancements.
On hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony was Dr. Martin Haberl, General Manager of Zschimmer & Schwarz Gmbh - Salvona's partner in development. It is thanks to the partnership and trust of the Zschimmer & Schwarz team that the move and investment in the company was made possible. Mayor Kelly Yeade of Hamilton Township was also on hand to inaugurate the building.
The project's management was carried out by Sherute, LLC - another local Hamilton firm that helped bring the vision not only on time but within budget.
More to Come.
Salvona's new facility is just the start of the company's growth. Since the move, the Salvona Team has added 6 new full time employees with plans to hire more. The goal is to get Salvona's ground breaking solutions into the hands of consumers quickly and help enrich the lives of the people who need it most.
